Jacqui backs Jack Carroll for BGT Success
Our Jacqui Blay first met Hipperholme lad Jack Carroll 2 years ago fresh from a YouTube hit of his first gig at his parents wedding anniversary. Comedian Jason Manford had also spotted Jack's talent and asked him to support him on stage at St George's Hall.
He probably would say the highlight of his early career would be popping into The Pulse to take over Pulse Drivetime (or possibly not!). Jack came in for a chat with our Jacqui and entertained West Yorkshire with his wit.
Last year Jack went on to win a Pride of Britain award and this year after getting a standing ovation and 4 nods from the Britain's Got Talent Judges at the audition stage, Jack sailed through to the Semi Final live shows. At the live shows Jack once again got the nation giggling with jokes about school and Simon Cowell and went on to win the Semi Final heat with the most votes of the evening! (vid below if you didn't see it)
We've always been a big fan of Jack's work and wish him all the best in his Britain's Got Talent journey.
