The This Morning presenters will make a cameo in Coronation Street as part of Rosie Webster's exit storyline.
Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie, is heading off on maternity leave and recently revealed her exit will be comedy based.
Now outgoing Corrie boss Kate Oates has told Metro that Rosie will be appearing on This Morning as her burgeoning TV career gets a boost.
Kate said: "Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are coming in for a bit of fun and part of Helen Flanagan’s exit story.
"We’re kind of replaying a bit of a trick we have used before because Rosie has already been on shows but it will be great comedy.
"Phil and Holly will play themselves – I had a couple of hopes where I thought I could get them to slightly play against type!
"They’re such good sports – I am very happy. That’s the benefit of being in a big production company like ITV – I know Emma Gormley who runs daytime.
"She’s an amazing, successful person and a good friend of mine so I was able to give her a ring and she said: 'yeah, that sounds fun!'"
Helen recently teased fans saying they will be treated to a "really funny" exit plot.
She said: "I’m going out in kind of very much a Rosie style.
"The storyline is hilarious. It is really, really funny. I’ve enjoyed that about my character, the comedy."
Helen said she teary when she shot Rosie's exit, particularly because she is going to miss her on-screen mother and sister, Sally Dynevor (Sally Webster) and Brooke Vincent (Rosie Webster).
Speaking on ITV's Loose Women, she added: "I just filmed my leaving scene, but I've still got two days left of filming.
"I was really emotional – I’ve absolutely loved it going back. I’ve loved it so much it’s been brilliant.
