Police have arrested a man for allegedly swiping Frances McDormand’s Oscar at last night's film bash.

The would-be-thief reportedly swiped the 60-year-old Best Actress winner's gong shortly after she sent it off to be engraved.

The LAPD confirmed to The New York Post that the man has been arrested and booked on felony grand theft charges.

The suspect - named locally as Terry Bryant - allegedly went and he went so far as to shoot video of himself with the award.

Earlier on Monday, USA Today reported that the “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” actress was getting her trophy engraved at the post-Oscars Governors Ball when it disappeared.

New York Times reporter Cara Buckley tweeted: “Security at the Governors Ball are looking for this guy, who grabbed Frances McDormand’s Oscar and ran out with it.

“Wolfgang Puck’s photographer stopped him, got the Oscar back, and the guy disappeared back into the ball. "Apparently Frances has said to let him go.”

"Apparently Frances has said to let him go.”

McDormand, 60, won the Oscar for Best Actress for “Three Billboards” on Sunday.

Her “Fran and Oscar are happily reunited and are enjoying an In-N-Out burger together,” her rep said.
