Celebs celebrate England's win

A tense set of penalties saw the Three Lions come out triumphant - making it the first time England have EVER won a shootout in World Cup history.

Robbie Williams shared his belief that "football's coming home" as he went wild over the historic win.

 

Stormzy shared reactions from where he was watching the football with pals and Piers Morgan delcared "these players have balls of steel".

Other celebs including boxer Frank Bruno, Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown and Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon all celebrated the players' achievement.

Fans at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow and in pubs across Britain went crazy as they witnessed their home team progress to the next stage. They now face a clash with Sweden on Saturday.

Even Prince William got in on the action, by tweeting through Kensington Palace's official account sayd: "I couldn’t be prouder of @england - a victory in a penalty shootout!
