The TV duo earned £79,000 a day between them last year, according to figures.

New accounts documents filed by the Geordies show together they raked in a massive £29.5million in 12 months.

The presenting duo, both 41, made their fortune through ITV jobs including hosting I’m A Celebrity, Britain’s Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway.

Their production firm Mitre Television also owns all the archives from their hit kids shows Byker Grove and SM:TV.

Their earnings are made public through Companies House paperwork for their firms Deecourt Ltd, Teecourt Ltd and Hurley Promotions.

A source said: “Ant and Dec are two of the hardest-working and well-liked people in the industry but these figures are unbelievable.

“It’s a testament to their characters that you never see them flouting their cash or acting flash despite being the best paid stars in British telly.”

Last year the boys signed a golden handcuffs deal with ITV worth £30million until 2019. It will take their relationship with the channel to 21 years.
