Three Arrested And Drugs Seized In Bradford Stolen Vehicle Stop

The vehicle was sighted this morning heading towards the Greengates area.

Three people were arrested and a large quantity of drugs seized after police received information about a stolen vehicle in Bradford.

The vehicle, a red Renault Megane, was sighted at about 1.40am today heading towards the Greengates area.

The vehicle stopped outside an address in Rowanwood Gardens after a short pursuit.

Its occupants, a 29-year-old man and a 17-year-old female were arrested on suspicion of burglary after the vehicle had been reported stolen in a burglary in Clayton last month.

Further enquiries established the arrested male lived close to where the vehicle stopped and a subsequent search of the address found a large quantity of amphetamine and some cannabis plants.

He was further arrested for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs as was a female occupant of the address.

All three remain in custody and enquiries are continuing.
