Police hunt for three men as part of drug dealing crackdown in Bradford

Operation Errantdance has so far seen 40 people brought before the courts.

Detectives leading an investigation into drug dealing in Bradford have released images of three males they would like to identify.

Operation Errantdance, which targeted dealers operating in the East area of the city and around the outskirts of the city centre, has so far seen 40 people brought before the courts, with sentences passed totalling more than 100 years to date.

Trials have been set for the coming months for others charged in relation to this operation and officers from Bradford’s Programme Precision Team are now appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying these males.

Detective Inspector Matt Walker, who leads the Precision team at Bradford District, said:

“We hope the outcomes of this operation so far have reassured the communities of Bradford that we take the issue of drug dealing seriously.

“We are now asking them to help us by providing the names of these individuals, so we can progress our investigation.”

Op Errantdance was launched in January 2019 and saw Precision officers from Bradford District work with local neighbourhood teams to identify suspects, before plain clothes officers carried out test purchases.

The team then liaised with the Crown Prosecution Service so charges could be issued soon after the suspects were arrested and brought into custody. Work was also carried out with partner agencies to divert users away from the suppliers.

Anyone who can assist in identifying any of these males below is asked to contact the Programme Precision team in Bradford on 101, or by using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.

Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers.
