Man Stabbed Twice In The Back In Dewsbury

It happened yesterday evening on Headfield View, Thornhill Lees.

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Dewsbury yesterday evening.

The incident happened on the 29th January at around 6:30pm on Headfield View, Thornhill Lees.

Three males entered a flat and there was an altercation between them and the male victim. One of the suspects was carrying a knife and stabbed the victim causing two wounds in his back.

The suspects fled the scene, also causing damage to a car outside the property, driving off in a black Range Rover and a black hatchback.

The 30-year-old male victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The first suspect is described as an Asian male, aged 20, 5ft 7”, medium build with short black hair, stubble beard and moustache. He was wearing jeans and a grey jumper.

The second is an Asian male, around 20-21, medium build, 5ft 6”, thin line on his face and has a small moustache. He was wearing light blue jeans and a red jumper.

The third suspect was an Asian male, 23-24-years-old, 5ft 6”, small build, short black hair, thin moustache and stubble beard. He was wearing a light grey tracksuit.
