The shooting happened in Wedgemoor Close in Wyke.
A 25-year-old man from Bradford has been arrested in connection with the firearms discharge in Wedgemoor Close, Wyke on Wednesday night (14th February).
He remains in custody at this time and enquiries are continuing.
Officers were called to Wedgemoor Close in Wyke at about 11.56pm on Wednesday 14th February, after males were reported to be trying to gain entry to some flats.
The caller then reported hearing a vehicle drive away.
Attending officers found damage to a door which was believed to have been caused by a firearm. Further examination established this was consistent with a firearms discharge.
On checking the address it was found that entry had been gained and the property had been searched.
Enquiries are at an early stage and are continuing in the area today along with reassurance patrols, but this is believed to be a targeted attack.
Detective Chief Inspector Jaz Khan, of the Firearms Prevent Team, said:
“From our enquiries so far we believe that the vehicle used in this offence was black or dark coloured and of similar size to a Volkswagen Golf.
“We would therefore appeal to anyone who may have seen a similar vehicle in the area, or anyone seen acting suspiciously around one, before or shortly after the incident.”
