Drink Driver crashes in Huddersfield church yard

Late Monday night a car smashed through a church wall and destroyed some of the headstones

St Stephen’s Parish Church in Lindley, Huddersfield was damaged when a drink driver ploughed through the stone wall then destroyed multiple headstones.



West Yorkshire Police tweeted to say the driver was lucky to be alive after the crash. It's not thought anyone was hurt after the collision into the graveyard of the Grade II listed church in Lindley.
