Crash In Liversedge Leaves Man In Hospital With Serious Injuries

The 65-year-old was knocked down on Mark Street

A man in his 60s is in hospital with serious injuries after being knocked down by a car in Liversedge.

It happened around 3.20pm on Friday February 2, on Mark Street.

The 65-year-old pedestrian was knocked down by a blue Audi A3.

The collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries - he was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he is still recovering.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident - or thinks they might have seen either the car or pedestrian before the crash - to get in touch.

Witnesses are being asked to call the Western Area Roads Policing Unit via 101, quoting 1143 of 02/02.
