CCTV Images Released Following Huddersfield Stabbing

A 21 year-old man was found in the town centre with serious neck injuries last month.

Detectives investigating after a man was stabbed in Huddersfield town centre have released CCTV images of a man who they are trying to trace in connection with the offence.

Police were called at 11.20pm on 28 June to a report that a man had been found injured in Victoria Lane, Huddersfield. The 21-year-old man had been stabbed in New Street. He suffered a serious injury to the neck.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured in these CCTV images as part of their ongoing enquiries.

He is described as a black male, with short black hair, of slim to medium build, wearing a dark jacket with red stripes down the arms. He had a ‘manbag’ across his shoulder, a light coloured fisherman/cricket hat and light coloured trainers.

A 22-year-old man has previously been arrested in connection with this incident and released under investigation.
