Yorkshire's #RioHeroes Welcomed Home

West Yorkshire's Olympic and Paralympic stars have been welcomed home by 30,000 people lining the streets of Leeds.

A homecoming parade was held in the city on Wednesday night.

Athletes taking part included triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, diver Jack Laugher and Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft.

Alistair Brownlee, who won gold in Rio, told Pulse 1 & Pulse 2: "It was really special being on the first bus and the front of that bus.

"Having so many people turning out to support us, welcome us and cheer us on was absolutely incredible."

Hannah Cockroft, who was a triple gold medalist, added: "It was pretty outstanding!"

"It was absolutely amazing and so much fun."
