York Sign Terriers Defender On Loan

William Boyle

Huddersfield Town have loan out William Boyle to the League 2 club.

Huddersfield Town’s William Boyle has completed a return to Sky Bet League 2 club York City on a Youth Loan.

The 20 year-old centre back has joined the Minstermen until 26 May 2016 inclusive, with the Terriers having the ability to recall the defender after the first 28 days.

Boyle has made one substitute appearance under Head Coach David Wagner so far, coming on for the final few minutes of Town’s 2-1 Sky Bet Championship defeat at Preston North End on 6 February.

It'll be his second loan spell at Bootham Crescent; he made six starts for Jackie McNamara’s side between 21 November and 2 January earlier this season.

Boyle is expected to go straight into York's matchday squad to face Luton Town on Saturday.
