Terriers Recall Payne From Oxford Loan

The 23-year-old made over 30 appearances whilst out on loan, scoring seven goals.

Huddersfield Town have recalled midfielder Jack Payne from his loan spell at League One side Oxford United.

The 23-year-old joined them at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, initially on a season-long loan - but the Terriers have now exercised the recall clause which was included in the deal.

He made 33 appearances whilst out on loan, 27 of which came in League One.

Payne was also involved with 19 goals during his time at Oxford - scoring seven, and assisting 12.

Oxford currently sit 10th in the League One Table.

The midfielder joined Town from Southend United, in 2016.
