Simon Grayson Named Bradford City's New Manager

The 48 year old is a former Huddersfield Town and Leeds United boss.

Bradford City have confirmed the appointment of Simon Grayson as the club's new manager.

They say Grayson has been their 'number one target' to take over first-team affairs since the sacking of Stuart McCall last week.

He's due to meet the players today and will be in charge for the Bantams' trip to Charlton Athletic on Tuesday.

He'll be joined by Glynn Snodin as his assistant, with all other existing current staff staying at the club.

Grayson was in charge of Leeds United from 2008 to 2012, before joining Huddersfield Town as boss for around a year.

More recently, he's spent time as manager of both Preston North End and Sunderland.

The 48 year old was born in Ripon, and began his playing career with Leeds United.
