Bantams make just one signing on transfer deadline day.
Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson says they are likely to make use of the loan market over the course of the weeks and months ahead.
On a quiet transfer deadline day for the Bantams, they only secured the services of goalkeeper Ben Williams.
But they also kept hold of their main players such as James Hanson who was rumoured to be heading for the exit.
The loan market re-opens to Football League clubs in a week's time, meaning Parkinson can add to his squad via this route even though the main transfer window will have shut by then.
Parkinson said: "There is a lot of hype around but this day is predominately for Premiership clubs.
"The benefit for clubs at our level, however, is that the Premiership clubs will have named their squads and got in the players they are going to need by the time the loan window opens again in a week's time.
"That means they should know by then what players within their squad are surplus to their requirements."
