Mottley-Henry Returns To Bantams As Doyle Departs

The Bantams have bolstered their attacking options after re-signing the 22-year-old.

Bradford City have confirmed Eoin Doyle has joined Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.

The 31-year-old has returned to the Robins having spent the first half of the season on loan at The Energy Check County Ground.

An offer was tabled for the former Preston North End striker earlier this week.

After being recalled on January 8, Doyle expressed a desire to return to Swindon.

City manager Gary Bowyer said: "Throughout the course of any transfer window, you have to act in the best interests of the club, which we feel we have done with this agreement."

Meanwhile, City have completed the signing of Dylan Mottley-Henry from Championship side Barnsley.

The winger - who began his career with the Bantams, having graduated from the club’s youth academy - returns to the Valley Parade on a permanent deal until the end of the season.

Since signing for the Tykes, the 22-year-old has also spent time on loan at Tranmere Rovers and Harrogate Town.

Mottley-Henley comes straight into contention for Saturday’s trip to Oldham Athletic (3.00pm).

He is delighted to be back in West Yorkshire and cannot wait to get going.

Mottley-Henley said: "It feels great to be back here - where I started my career - and a little bit surreal!

"I am delighted to have re-signed for the club and there is definitely a feeling of unfinished business.

"I look forward to kicking on and performing as well as I possibly can."

Bantams boss Gary Bowyer added: “Dylan began his career here, so is desperate to come back in and make an impression.

“He brings a lot of pace and power, which you cannot have enough of in a football club. We are delighted to be able to welcome him.”
