LISTEN: Keighley Squad To Be Offered Counselling After Jones Death

Danny Jones

JustGiving page has now passed £60,000.

The Keighley Cougars squad are to be offered counselling by the RFL following the tragic death of Danny Jones.

The 29-year-old left the field during Sunday's game against London Scholars, later dying in hospital of a cardiac arrest.

CEO of the Rugby Football League Ralph Rimmer said: "We're giving some counselling to both teams and players that were involved in Sunday's game.

"Clearly, there will be some additional support to Keighley in particular.

"It's a devestated club that do certainly need some support in all different kinds of ways."

A justgiving page set up to raise money for Jones' family has now raised over £60,000.
