The Terriers are welcoming keeper Jonas Lossol back on loan from Everton, and Chris Willcock on loan from Benfica.

It was a busy end to transfer deadline day for Huddersfield Town as they make two important last-minute loan signings.

The first announcement of the night was the return of goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, who comes back to the Terriers on loan from Everton.

The 30 year old was a popular sight at the John Smith's Stadium during the club's seasons in the Premier League.

Lossl made 72 appearances for the Terriers, as well as being named in Denmark's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley said:

“Huddersfield Town supporters won’t need me to introduce Jonas. We are delighted to be able to bring him back to the Club.

“From the first moment we spoke, his affinity with the Club and the supporters was obvious; this is very important to us.

“There was a real desire to come and help the team and the squad and a huge motivation to play regular football.

“He brings a wealth of experience, he’s a good communicator and had outstanding distribution skills.”

Then, around an hour later, Huddersfield Town announced the arrival of a further loan signing, this time it was Chris Willcock who joins from Benfica.

The winger, who can play down both flanks, joined the Terriers on what was his 22nd birthday.

He's scored 14 goals for Benfica B, and has been a regular in England's youth sides.

Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley said:

“Chris is a young player with huge potential. He’s a skilful wide player that can play off either side.

“He’s good in the one vs one moment and is capable of getting in behind defences with his movement. He’s a creative player and will give us something different in the attacking third of the pitch.

“He comes with a point to prove and a real enthusiasm to play.”

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, it was announced that a couple of Huddersfield Town player would be going out on loan.

Forward Josh Koroma is joining League One side Rotherham United for the rest of this season.

And winger Aaron Rowe is heading to Bromley until the end of February.
