Midfielder to join Chesterfield.
Huddersfield Town midfielder Oscar Gobern has joined League 1 Chesterfield on loan.
The deal will initially last until 19 November.
The 23-year-old hasn’t featured for Town’s First Team this season, but has recently completed three starts for the Under-21 side after recovering from a toe injury incurred during pre-season.
Huddersfield Town Manager Chris Powell said: “We have a lot of competition for places in midfield at the moment with Jacob Butterfield, Conor Coady and Jonathan Hogg doing well and Radi Majewski and young Philip Billing impressing in training, so it makes sense for Oscar to leave on loan to play in competitive matches.
“He’s a bit behind the other players in terms of match sharpness because of the toe injury that kept him out of the start of the season, so this is an ideal move for him.
“Chesterfield is a good footballing team and should suit Oscar’s abilities, so I’m looking forward to seeing how he fares during his month in League 1."
