Oliver Roberts has agreed a two-year deal to move down the M62.
Huddersfield Giants have signed Bradford Bulls Academy International back row forward Oliver Roberts on a two year deal from .
The 19-year-old has made six super league appearances but missed the majority of last year after sustaining a broken leg against Wigan Warriors.
The Giants have paid the Bulls an undisclosed fee for the 6’1” forward in accordance with RFL regulations.
Roberts told www.giantsrl.com: “Bradford offered me a deal to stay when I regained fitness from injury but I wanted to stay in the Super League competition if at all possible after our relegation.
"The Giants expressed interest and as I live really close and played amateur rugby with a few of the boys there I know how good a setup it is and I am joining a top four club
"I know the path into the team is a tough one but I’m confident enough to back myself and all I need is a long and good pre-season campaign which I’m already on with nutritionally and with a home weights programme and I’ll be ready to go come the trials in January after a couple of months with the group.
"I’d like to thank the Bulls for my time there and both hope and expect they will have a great year next year.”
Roberts will join the Giants for pre-season training in the first team squad on November 1st.
