FC Halifax Town fans have given their players a rousing send-off to Wembley.

The Shaymen take on Grimsby Town on Sunday in the FA Trophy Final on Sunday.

The game is the first time the club have made it to Wembley.

Fans met the players at The Shay on Wednesday night to give them a send-off.

Chairman David Bosomworth told Pulse 1 & Pulse 2: "It is a great achievement, we are really proud!

"I have to say there are a few nerves now and a few twinges."

Captain Nicky Wroe added: "It'll be one of the biggest games I will have been part of.

"Wembley is a special place, everybody wants to play there as a kid so it is right up there for me.

"It will be really special to lead the team out and hopefully get my hands on the trophy."
