Captain Clarke Not Offered New Town Contract

Peter Clarke one of five out-of-contract senior players who will be leaving Huddersfield Town this summer.

Huddersfield Town say five senior players, out of contract this summer, won't be at the John Smith's Stadium next season.

One of them is captain Peter Clarke, who has been with the Terriers since 2009.

The others are Keith Southern, Anton Robinson, Calum Woods and Ian Bennett.

Also leaving are Cristian Lopez, Chris Atkinson and Paul Mullin.

The Club wants to retain three players who are out of contract; Danny Ward will be offered a new deal, whereas the Club is taking up pre-agreed options to extend the contracts of Murray Wallace and Ed Wilczynski.

A decision on Harry Bunn will be confirmed in due course.
