Result means the Bantams stay second in League One
Bradford City squandered a chance to go top of League One yesterday with a 1-1 draw with Millwall.
The Bantams were out in front after an own goal from Byron Webster just before half-time. But Millwall levelled after the break with a winner from Joe Martin.
The result means Bradford stay in second place, two points behind Bolton.
Bradford City manager Stuart McCall said: "I think a draw was fair. In the first half we showed some really good play. We dominated for long periods and scored a good goal on the counter-attack. I think you always know what you're up against when you come to Millwall.
"You've got to defend and stand up and be counted. We showed that part of us. I think it was a well merited point."
He said his players deserved credit for the result: "Everyone knows the ups and downs we've had...I can't give the players enough credit. 12 points out of 6 games...more than happy with that."
