Bradford Bulls Deducted 6 Points

The Toll For Entering Administration Earlier This Year Has Hit

There are more torubling times for Bradford Bulls ahead.

They've been deducted 6 points for entering into administration earlier this year.

That punishment from the Rugby Football League has led to a holding company which wanted to purchase the club withdrawing its offer.

Mark Moore, the chairman of the Bradford Bulls 2014 Limited group, says the points penalty makes relegation "almost a certainty".

The group, which had a bid to buy the club accepted last week, have now withdrawn their offer.

The Rugby Football League says the decision follows a "full assessment of the circumstances" surrounding bringing in the administrators, which followed a similar insolvency event in June 2012.
