Bantams Sign Steven Davies

The 27-year-old has agreed a one year deal.

Bradford City have confirmed that they have secured their first signing of the summer by snapping up striker Steven Davies.

Davies, 27, moves to the Coral Windows Stadium on a one-year deal after leaving Blackpool at the end of last season.

The Liverpool-born forward finished the 2014/2015 campaign on loan at City's League 1 rivals, Sheffield United.  The striker trained with his new City team-mates this Tuesday at the club's Apperley Bridge training ground.

Upon completing his first transfer of pre-season, Bantams boss Phil Parkinson said: "Steve is a very technical player with a great left foot. He has quality in his all-round game.

"He has played most of his career at Championship level and is still only 27 years old. There is still a lot of football years ahead for him.

"We have got ourselves a very talented player."
