Sun Savers - Festive Party Season
THE festive party season is in full swing
but celebrating with Santa shouldn’t cost a sack load.
A report reveals a night out for ten usually costs around £60 per person on average. But making merry with your mates need not cost so much.
Here are my ways you can make your festive fodder go further...
Bargain bundle. It pays to think about drink beforehand and not whine when you see the prices. Check out the brilliant booze bundles this Christmas at Bella Italia restaurants. Three bottles of party prosecco are only £49.99, three bottles of wine just £34.99 and six beers are under £20. Split the bill between the group and Yule be quids in.
Save: £18.86 off the normal price of three bottles of rosé.
Drink up. Grab a free festive tipple to kick off your party. Simply get each of your group to join All Bar One’s newsletter and, starting from December 12, you’ll get a mulled cider on the house. Drinkers in Scotland receive a money-off voucher. Pre-book a group December drinks deal to cut down spending as you down ’em at the bar. Or get one of their drinks package - their bronze deal includes a bottle of wine and 5 Peroni beers for £40.
Save: around £5 off beer and wine with the bronze drinks package.
Party planner. It’s snow joke having to arrange the a Christmas do and take deposits from everyone. But if you book at a Frankie & Benny’s restaurant with a group of six or more, the person organising it gets a free meal for two voucher to use in January. Plus the restaurant won’t ask for a deposit.
Save: around £25 with meal for two voucher.
