Loyalty: McDonalds. A Freshly Ground Espresso will set you back 79p, and you can ask for a bigger cup and stretch it out with complimentary milk packets. Even better, you can fill out their Loyalty Card scheme and once you get 6 stamps, you can get a free coffee of your choosing. I’m partial to a large Mocha myself.
Shop n sip: Even if Waitrose isn’t your supermarket of choice, you can Join MyWaitrose for FREE, and be treated to a free tea or coffee you make a purchase in-store. Make sure you bring a reusable cup, as they got rid of all their takeaway disposables. You can get a Smash Barista Buddie, was £8, now £5.33, from Argos.
SAVING: £2.67 on the cup
At home. Tea fans can pick up 240 Pg Tips Pyramid Tea Bags from Tesco for £4, down from £5.99. Which means each cuppa will cost a fraction of a penny. If a cup of coffee is more your thing, head to B&M where you can get Caffe Di Italia Medium Ground Coffee, £1, and jazz it up with Coffee Shop Collection Coffee Syrups, £2.99.
