Thieves Targeting Cars In Keighley & Shipley Say Police

Manningham also a hot spot according to West Yorkshire Police.

West Yorkshire Police say thieves are targeting insecure cars in Bradford.

There were more than 20 thefts from vehicles reported over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Most of the thefts were reported in the Keighley and Shipley areas, although vehicles in the Manningham area were also targeted.  

Items taken included satellite navigation systems, laptop computers and mobile phones, together with other personal property including wallets and shopping bags.  

Detective Sergeant Graham Dyson told Pulse 1 & Pulse 2: "We would urge motorists to make sure their vehicle is locked when leaving it unattended."
